Needed a new keyboard today as the old wireless one we had kept missing key presses and the only other keyboard we had didn’t have the lovely media keys that we’re so used to.
So got a logitech media 600 keyboard from Scan in Bolton. Get home and realise it’s the German model for some reason so all the keys are in German and the Z and the Y are the wrong way round (technically making it a QWERTZ keyboard rather than a QWERTY one).
So I have to trek back to Bolton (forking out for train fare again) and get it swapped. Nearly ended up with another German one however I spotted the label.
Thankfully I’m now typing from a lovely English keyboard with all the keys making sense and in the right place!

Our curse with electrical appliances seems to know no bounds!!!
On Sunday morning whilst I was reliving my youth by having a fun game of colonization when the computer just turned off for no reason. So I turn it back on, windows starts loading and then goes back on. Push the power button again and bang followed by nothing.
So my old PC has died a death which finally gave me an excuse to get a new computer. Just one problem, no money. Had it have happened a week before I could have used my redundancy pay from Arnold Clark. We very nearly entertain the scary option of Brighthouse as computer would have said no to us anywhere else.
Fortunately, my Mum volunteered to get a new PC on credit and we pay her the payments meaning we are now paying half the monthly payments that we would have been and we now have a nice shiny quad core PC

Woke up this morning to the most ludicrous message off someone on my facebook friends list on the owned application. The message was:
why do you keep buyin my pics why cant u just leave it to my boyfriend an our mate, i do not want u owning me you are stalking me. dont you think its weird you keep buying all my pics... well me and several other ppl do
Now for people who don’t know owned is an application on facebook whereby you get some virtual money and can then buy the pictures of people on your friends list or just random people thereby owning them. Other people can then buy them off you making you a profit giving you more money with which to buy photos.
Now when you log in the first thing the application does is give you a nice list of people on your friends list that you don’t own and give you the option to buy them (or rebuy them if someone bought them off you). Now if your minted on that application like I am you normally just click buy and then you can make some more money.
So what initially starts off as a bit of harmless fun now seems to have turned into a potential case of defamation and libel. Of course it just gets a bit funnier when you take into consideration the following two things
a) The person in question added me as a friend to facebook
b) The person in question has been on my MSN block list for almost two years now as the last time we spoke on there she was doing my head in
My reply back to her message if anyone wonders was:
Jesus way to over react don't you think? But fine I wont buy you back if someone buys you off me. Why do you keep posting things to my fun wall and my super wall. OMG you must be stalking me!!!!! PMSL
All fun and games anyway. Probably should have told her (and anyone else who thinks it’s weird) to get a grip. If you don’t want people owning you then don’t add the application to facebook. Not really rocket science is it?
Well actually given the amount of spelling and grammatical mistakes in their message and the fact that her boyfriend spells “bird” with a U perhaps it is rocket science!
