Many moons ago when I was sad, lonely and single (not necessarily in that order) I used to be regularly on the site Faceparty (to the extent where I had purchased their cool tools and AVS). Not been on for many moons and then I saw a post on a forum saying wtf had happened to it.
It seems to almost now be acknowledging itself as a home to very bad men who should be hit with bricks and now has this announcement from the “Queen” on it’s homepage before you can go any further

So is Faceparty closed for good now then? The homepage isn’t very clear with all those royal like symbols all dotted about. I do however think it’s a shame genuine people like myself who enjoyed chatting to people from around the world probably won’t get the chance to do so again.
Well you can log in once you get past the video so still seems to be working. Least for the time being.
Faceparty went downhill for me when it started being full of under 16s despite only meant to be allowing over 16s (apologies if you are under 16). Just asking for trouble if they are allowing kids on there as very bad men who should be hit with bricks are bound to start preying on it.
Is a shame however there are lots of similar sites out there so shouldn’t be too difficult to find somewhere else to chat on if it does close.
this page is a complete insult to anything we stand for in my view, it should be closed down, .. the more people reject their membership, the more it will suffer.
anyone know how to cancel avs on faceparty?
or how to mail those who run it?
