Is anyone else getting really annoyed by the “compare the meerkat” adverts on TV at the moment. They are on all the time and really starting to do my head in. The main reason being the entire advert is a complete and utter lie.

Not one person has ever confused “comparethemarket.com” with “comparethemeerkat.com”. In fact comparethemeerkat.com was registered as a domain much later than comparethemarket.com (about 3 years later actually). And who exactly wants to compare meerkats anyway cos I certainly don’t (I don’t particularly want to compare car insurance prices either as I don’t drive but hey)

Coming a close second (though this is first on Yvonne’s list) is the current Cadbury’s advert with the kids with the moving eyebrows. WTF does that have to do with chocolate? Nothing that’s what!

Oh and the other one Yvonne doesn’t like is the Ped Egg advert for JML when it shows them empying all the dried foot skin into the bin. Just what you want to see when you’re having your tea!
